What Will You Do?

For the largest subsidiary in the NMi Group, NMi Certin B.V., we are looking for a hands-on Business Controller. In this role, you will work at least 60% of the time from the Delft office, with the remaining 40% from home or another office. Acting as a sparring partner for internal stakeholders, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Director, challenging him and the operations team on financial project management.

As Business Controller, your responsibilities include:

• Managing the financial administration of NMi Certin’s projects.
• Overseeing project performance, financial management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Reporting monthly figures and KPIs, analyzing results and margins, and contributing to professionalizing internal and external reporting processes.

In addition to project control, you will be involved in various financial flows such as monthly closing activities. You will also lead a team, guiding them in daily financial operations like accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an analytical, decisive, and entrepreneurial professional with a hands-on approach. You work independently and bring a positive-critical mindset. Your advanced Excel and analytical skills enable you to interpret data and develop actionable improvements. You are familiar with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.

Additionally, you have:

• A completed business economics or financial degree at HBO level or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to navigate effectively across organizational levels.
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Experience with Exact Globe and Lucanet (preferred).
• Advanced skills in Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
